A 25-year-old Talladega man is facing felony drug charges after police recovered four “shake and bake” methamphetamine manufacturing bottles in his truck in the parking lot of the Talladega Walmart.
Jeffrey Shane Stringfellow, has been charged with unlawful possession of marijuana in the second degree and manufacture of a controlled substance in the first degree. Stringfellow was arrested after talladega police received calls expressing concern for a man who appeared to be unconscious inside his truck in the parking lot. Officers went to check and initially found Stringfellow unresponsive. When he was eventually roused, officers discovered a marijuana cigarette and a set of portable scales inside the truck. Stringfellow was arrested for the marijuana, and the truck was impounded. An inventory of the truck turned up one shake and bake bottle on the back seat and three more inside a bag. All four were actively cooking methamphetamine at the time.
