Calhoun county sheriffs deputies attempting to serve a warrant on a Jacksonville man arrested two people on drug charges.  Deputies were searching for Kyle Thrasher and made contact with a male and female at his residence and while attempting to locate Thrasher inside the residence Deputies found 2 syringes filled with a liquid substance that was a controlled substance and a spoon covered in methamphetamine residue.   42 year old Karen J. McCurry, of Jacksonville, and 40 year old David Michael Baker, of Jacksonville, were arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  They are being held in the Calhoun County Jail pending bond and have a court date of March 15, 2012.
